Hi. I’m Richard Harvey.

I’ve always wanted to learn to fly and after seeing a TV show I was inspired to do some further research.

I work near Fairoaks (EGTF) airfield and after some careful consideration I chose London Transport Flying Club (LTFC) to do my Private Pilots Licence (PPL).

This page will contain my journey to (hopefully) getting my PPL and then continue with my flights once I have my licence and possibly aditional ratings such as Instrument Rating Restricted (IR(R)) to alow me to fly in Instrument Meteorological Condictions (IMC) (bad wether and clouds etc.) and Night Rating.
